Dental Veneers Workflow For Dentists Partnering with Our Lab

dental veneers process

We’ve simplified the veneer case process to ensure smooth communication, predictable results, and happy patients. Here’s how we work, step-by-step:

Step 1: Initial Records from Dentist

📸 Photos + Patient Info

  • Full-face and intraoral photos (frontal, side, smile)

  • Shade selection and desired outcome

  • Bite registration (optional but preferred)

🖥️ Scan or Impression

  • Send us an intraoral scan (preferred: STL files)

  • Or physical impressions (PVS material)

Step 2: Lab Mockup Design

🧠 Digital Smile Design (Mockup)

  • We create a digital wax-up/mockup based on your input

  • You’ll receive a preview of the smile design for your review

LAB MOCKUP

Step 3: 3D Print and Lab Prep

🖨️ 3D Printed Model

  • Once approved, we 3D print the model for clinical use

🧰 Prep Guide / ZIP Prep

  • We send you a ZIP (Zero Intervention Prep) guide for minimal or no-prep veneers (if applicable)

  • Helps plan conservative preparation and accurate results

Step 4: Clinical Preparation (by Dentist)

✂️ Tooth Preparation

  • Dentist prepares the teeth as per guide

  • Send back new scan or impression post-prep

🦷 Temporary Veneers

  • Lab or in-clinic temps are placed on the patient for trial

  • Patient wears it for a few days to test function and aesthetics

Step 5: Modifications if Needed

✍️ Adjustments

  • If patient requests changes to shape, length, or color

  • Send feedback—Lab will modify accordingly and resend temp or mockup

Step 6: Final Veneers

🎉 Patient Approval

  • Once the patient is happy with the temporary look

  • Lab fabricates final veneers (e.max, zirconia, or composite)

🚚 Final Delivery

  • Shipped to your clinic ready for bonding

  • Cementation and post-op photos can be shared for follow-up
